| Singapore Style Cod with Sesame Noodles | |
Ingredients: 12each Norwegian Cod Fillets, 8 oz. 72 oz. Lomein noodles, cooked 3/4 cup Comsource Soy sauce 3/4 cup Ambrosia Sesame Oil 1/4 cup Ambrosia Rice vinegar 3 cups DFS Red peppers, julienne 3 cups DFS Scallions, cut on a bias 6 oz. DFS Watercress Argo Cornstarch, as needed Water, as needed Black and white sesame seeds, as needed 3 cups Prepared peanut sauce chopped Directions: 1. To prepare the sesame noodles, combine lomein, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, red peppers, scallions and watercress. Mix well. Refrigerate until needed. 2. Combine cornstarch and water. Coat the cod fillets in the cornstarch mixture, then sesame seeds and refrigerate. 3. For each serving, pan sear one reserved cod fillet until golden brown and fish is cooked through. Place 8 3/4 oz. sesame noodles in a large bowl. Top with cod and 3 oz. peanut sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds. |
