Dual Evaporator Delivery Trucks

All DiCarlo straight trucks and trailers are equipped with a dual evaporator system. This system ensures that products being delivered to our customers remain at optimum temperature throughout the delivery process by separating the delivery vehicle into two separate compartments using an interior bulkhead. All refrigeration units are set at a minimum of -5 degrees Fahrenheit in the freezer section and 38-45 degrees Fahrenheit in the refrigerated section. We take care in ensuring produce items are blanketed and protected from the refrigeration blowers and use extra care when shipping ice cream products by providing freezer bags or coolers which are stored in the warehouse freezer prior to transportation..
