Founded in 1963, DiCarlo Distributors Inc. is one of the top 50 food service distributors in the United States.  DiCarlo was founded by Vincent DiCarlo Sr., Michael DiCarlo and John DiCarlo Sr.  Still family owned and operated, it is headed today by John DiCarlo Sr., along with the family's next generation.  Servicing customers from its headquarters in Holtsville, L.I., New York, a satellite branch in South Kearny, New Jersey, and a turnaround facility in Bellmawr, NJ (Exit 3) DiCarlo's steady growth and reputation has been predicated on the strict adherence to hard work and customer satisfaction. 

DiCarlo's modern facility has over five million cubic feet of dry, refrigerated and freezer storage space giving the ability to purchase in large volume while offering customers the highest quality products at the most competitive prices. DiCarlo is a member of Unipro Foodservice, Inc., the largest cooperative distribution group in the world and a member of The Multi-Unit Group. This combination of purchasing power increases the capability to deliver products and services that satisfy and exceed customer’s expectations. 

Currently DiCarlo’s workforce consists of over 240 employees, represents over 500 manufacturers and maintains over 10,000 SKU’s. DiCarlo strives for excellence with an experienced group of service professionals that continue to build on their knowledge with the Company goal in mind, ultimate customer satisfaction.

DiCarlo Earns a Superior Rating

On October 25, 2018, Merieux NutriSciences, a third party food safety management company conducted a food safety and sanitation inspection of our facility.  We earned a 99.1% grade which is a Superior rating, the highest attainable.   View our 2018 certificate
